General Info

We offer private lessons on the following instruments: piano, strings, guitar, bass, percussion, voice, and band Instruments Why should you take private lessons? If you are interested in learning to play a musical instrument, prepare yourself for a rewarding and challenging experience. Many people develop an interest in playing a musical instrument after attending a performance, seeing musicians on television, or by being influenced by friends or family members, but are usually not prepared for the dedication it takes to succeed. Here are a few tips to help you through your initial transition into becoming a musician.
1. Set a daily practice schedule - learning an instrument involves muscle memory or repetitive movement and giving your mind its daily dosage of exercises will help you build a stronger foundation faster.
2. Do exactly what your private lesson teacher tells you - he or she has many years of experience and will help you solve the problems that you face.
3. Be committed to your art - learning an instrument takes self-discipline and dedication but the hard work will pay off.
4. Take care of your instrument - an instrument in good working condition will serve you well. Need an instrument? You can purchase an instrument from Upbeat Music.
